Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz tequila blanco
  • 1 oz triple sec
  • ½ cup fresh raspberries or frozen
  • 1 oz lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 oz simple syrup adjust to taste
  • 1 cup ice for shaking or blending
  • Salt or sugar for rimming glass, optional
  • 1 lime wedge for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the glass: Rim a glass with salt or sugar by running a lime wedge around the edge, then dip in salt or sugar.
    Blend or muddle raspberries: Blend raspberries with lime juice and simple syrup for smooth texture, or muddle gently for rustic texture.
    Shake the margarita: Fill a shaker with ice, add tequila, triple sec, and raspberry mixture. Shake vigorously for 20 seconds.
    Serve: Pour over ice for on-the-rocks version, or blend with ice for a frozen margarita.
    Garnish: Add a lime wedge or a few whole raspberries. Serve and enjoy.
