Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup lime juice freshly squeezed
  • ½ cup tomato juice
  • 1 –2 tsp hot sauce adjust for spice
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tsp soy sauce optional
  • 2 –3 drops Maggi seasoning optional
  • ½ tsp salt for rimming and seasoning
  • ¼ tsp black pepper optional
  • ½ tsp chili powder or Tajín optional
  • 12 oz beer light lager or pilsner recommended
  • Salt or Tajín for rimming glass optional
  • Lime wedge for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Rim the glass: Run a lime wedge around the edge of the glass and dip in salt or Tajín.
    Mix base ingredients: In a small bowl or pitcher, combine lime juice, tomato juice, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, Maggi seasoning, salt, black pepper, and chili powder. Whisk until fully combined.
    Add ice: Fill the glass with ice, leaving space for the beer.
    Pour the beer: Slowly add beer, about 12 oz, and stir gently to mix with the Michelada base.
    Garnish: Add a lime wedge, celery stalk, or chili slices for presentation. Serve immediately.
