  • 1 cup heavy cream or half-and-half for lighter version
  • ¾ cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • 1 tbsp gluten-free flour or cornstarch optional, for thicker sauce
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper freshly ground
  • A pinch of nutmeg optional

  • Melt the Butter and Sauté Garlic: In a medium saucepan, melt 4 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.

Thicken the Sauce (Optional): Whisk in 1 tablespoon of gluten-free flour or cornstarch for a thicker consistency. Simmer 2–3 minutes.
Add Parmesan Cheese: Gradually add ¾ cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
Season: Add ½ tsp salt, ¼ tsp black pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg (optional). Adjust seasonings to taste.
Finish and Serve: Remove from heat, stir in 1 tbsp chopped parsley for garnish. Serve immediately over gluten-free pasta, chicken, vegetables, or as desired.
