Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Black pepper
  • ¼ tsp Cayenne pepper optional
  • ½ tsp Dried oregano
  • ½ tsp Dried thyme
  • Optional: Smoked paprika or chili flakes for extra kick
  • Potatoes or sweet potatoes for fries
  • Cooking oil for coating

Instructions
 

  • Mix the Dry Ingredients:
    In a small bowl, combine paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, cayenne (if using), oregano, and thyme.
    Optional: Toast spices in a dry pan for 30 seconds to intensify flavor.
    Prep Your Fries:
    Cut fresh potatoes or sweet potatoes evenly (¼–½ inch thick).
    Pat dry thoroughly to remove moisture for crispiness.
    Coat the Fries:
    Lightly spray fries with oil (optional for better adhesion).
    Sprinkle the seasoning over fries and toss to coat evenly.
    Cook Your Fries:
    Air Fryer: 400°F (200°C) for 15–20 minutes, shaking halfway.
    Oven: 425°F (220°C) for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway.
    Deep Fry: Fry at 350°F (175°C) until golden brown. Drain before seasoning.
    Serve and Enjoy:
    Serve immediately with dips like ketchup, garlic aioli, sriracha mayo, or ranch dressing.
    Optional: Garnish with fresh herbs like parsley or thyme for added flavor and presentation.
