Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups fresh okra sliced
  • 1 –2 tbsp olive oil or spray oil
  • 2 tbsp cornmeal
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Optional: cayenne lemon juice, ranch seasoning

Instructions
 

  • Prep the Okra: Wash and pat dry the okra. Slice into ½-inch rounds.
  • Toss with Oil: Place okra in a bowl, add olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix lightly.
  • Coat the Okra: In another bowl, mix cornmeal, flour, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Toss okra in the dry mix until lightly coated.
  • Arrange in the Air Fryer: Spread okra in a single layer. Spray lightly with oil. Cook in batches if necessary.
  • Air Fry Until Crispy: Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 12–15 minutes. Shake halfway through for even browning.
  • Serve: Enjoy immediately with your favorite dipping sauce. Optional seasonings like lemon pepper, Cajun spices, or parmesan can be added for variation.
